CYT Atlanta’s Teen Camp is a residential (overnight/sleep-away) performing arts camp for ages 12-18 at Young Harris College. During the week, campers will rehearse and get ready for a public performance of Addams Family Young@Part. Also during the week, campers participate in rehearsals, workshops, evening activities, devotions, and have a free time break. This camp will not only develop your acting skills but your character skills!

Housing is in the college dorms with full service meals provided in the dining hall. Students will be required to bring twin XL bedding and shower supplies. A packing list will be provided.

The production of Addams Family Young@Part will be performed for families on Saturday July 26that the theater on campus.

Auditions: Late June (Date TBA)
**If you cannot attend the in person audition, you may send in a video. Special information will be given for your video submission. **

About Addams Family:
Celebrate the wackiness in every family with our best-selling Broadway musical adapted for middle school-age performers! Wednesday Addams has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

Thank you for choosing to join us for Teen Camp 2025 at Young Harris College! Below is the payment policy for this exciting camp experience. Please review the details carefully to ensure a smooth registration and payment process.

Payment Options:

Full Payment Made Upon Registration: $1250

Refund policy For Full Payment Made at Once:

* 75 percent refund before May 1
* 50 percent before June 1
* 25 percent before July 1

OR

Payment Plan Total Camp Cost: $1275

Payment Plan Payment Schedule

First Payment (Registration Fee): $275
- Due upon registration.
Second Payment: $250
- Due by March 31, 2025.
Third Payment: $250
- Due by April 30, 2025.
Fourth Payment: $250
- Due by May 30, 2025.
Fifth Payment: $250
- Due by July 7, 2025. (All payments must be completed by July 7, 2025.)

Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable for cancellations made after May 1, 2025, unless camp is canceled by CYT Atlanta.
In the event CYT Atlanta cancels the camp, all payments will be refunded.

Kennady Mays - Choreographer Kennady Mays has loved every minute being a part of the CYT family. She grew up performing from kindergarten through high school, and found that her heart belonged off stage, teaching and nurturing students. Her Junior Theater Festival competition troupe took home "Excellence in Ensemble" in 2022, and "Excellence in Dance" in 2024. She is thrilled to be at CYT, and cannot wait to help young performers grow in their passion for the arts!

Katherine Brown - Director KATHERINE BROWN has been working in educational theater in North Georgia for the last 6 years. She had the pleasure of studying theatre at the Gainesville Theatre Alliance, where she found a passion for directing, stage management, and scenic painting. She is passionate about education and making sure each child has a place to belong. Her life verse is Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”

Andréa Gossett - Artistic Director Andréa graduated from Valdosta State University with a BFA in Acting. Andréa is currently CYT Atlanta’s Artistic Director. She has been a part of the CYT family for five years and was happy to have been Show Coordinator for almost two years. She has worked with several professional theater companies including Aurora Theatre, Jekyll Island Musical Theatre Festival, Merry-Go-Round, and American Family Theatre. During her time in college, Andréa was trained in musical theater, acting and dance. She was honored to be an Irene Ryan Nominee for the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival for Performance. Since a very young age, Andréa enjoyed entertaining her family at home and on stage as well. Her favorite credits include ‘Rita’ in Lucky Stiff, ‘ Lady Bracknell' in The Importance of Being Earnest, and ‘Charity’ in Anything Goes.

Susanna Poston - Musical Director Susanna Poston has had the pleasure to be involved with some of the recent productions at CYT and has loved being a part of the family! Currently, she is a junior at UGA with a double major in Theater and Statistics with a Musical Theater Certificate. She loves musical theater and some of her favorite shows include BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (Belle), HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL (Gabriella), and NEWSIES (Smalls). She has also enjoyed music directing and helping casts with the musical side of shows! She has music directed with many different directors and programs and recently music directed FOOTLOOSE with CYT this summer! She loves being able to help students in their journey to the stage and is so excited to be working with CYT!
